Trademark Policy

Haiku and the Haiku logo are trademarks of Haiku, Inc. The objective of this policy is to encourage and allow widespread use of the Haiku name and logo while protect it from usage which would threaten or cause harm to Haiku's image, name, and integrity.

Acceptable Use Without Approval:

• Desktop wallpapers
• Web media such as buttons, icons, links, and screenshots
• Domain names, provided that the owning website is clear about not being owned or operated by Haiku

Note: If you would like to create T-shirts or other Haiku memorabilia, please follow the guidelines for the Haiku store.

Unacceptable Use:

• Official endorsements, expressed or implied, of third party products, services, or organizations without prior consent of Haiku, Inc.
• Usage in any unlawful, defamatory, threatening, obscene, pornographic or any other way which would degrade Haiku's reputation or bring civil liability upon Haiku.
